My name is Bibiana Prinoth and I am a PhD student in Astrophysics at Lund University, Sweden. I am 24 years old and I finished my Master's degree in Physics at ETH Zurich with my thesis on "Detectability of radial velocity planets with ELT / METIS" in June 2020.
As of September 2020, I have started my PhD at Lund Observatory, working on high-resolution spectroscopy of exoplanets and using cross-correlation to study the atmospheric composition of the hottest gas giant planets in extrasolar systems.
Besides research, I am very interested in teaching students about the beautiful world of physics.
When I am not working, I enjoy writing and blogging about my life and research on a more understandable level than in papers. Check out my personal webpage if you are interested! I also love to spend my time playing sports; I played football for almost 15 years, enjoy running and trying new sports like dancing.
