Astra and Sirius

from the Lund University Planetarium

Show description:

Show length: 15-45 minutes
Available languages:  English, Swedish
Framerate: 30 fps

This modular show has been designed to fit:

  • Small and/or mobile digital planetaria
  • Circular or directional seating
  • Younger audience and families

In the far north the Sun does not set during the summer months and people go stargazing wintertime - often in the (late) afternoon, dressed warmly with woolen mittens and hats.

In this show you can join a young girl, Astra, and her dog, Sirius, as they

  1. Explore the night sky, its stars and its constellations
  2. Explore the inner Solar system
  3. Explore the outer Solar system
  4. Extend beyond and visit a few exoplanets.

The show consists of four modules that can be used together and separately in any order.  We are publishing the show in 2K, 3K and 4K resolution to fit your system.  Please contact us if you want the Fulldome master files.
