Solens rörelse

Observing the Sun

Author

  • Anna Arnadottir

Summary, in English

We are all observers of our Universe. We see the stars moving from East to West at night and we see the Moon move among the stars from day to day.

But let us consider the Sun. Did you notice where the Sun rose above the horizon this morning? Does it always rise in the same location? Where will the Sun set tonight? Where would it set if we were in Australia?

This is an interactive show where we observe the movement of the Sun and Stars together and discuss the reason for why they move the way they do.
