Stargazing at Lund Observatory

The Division of Astrophysics invites members of the public to come by the observatory on a starry night and see how we use the telescopes to study the night sky.

Attending a stargazing event is free of charge, but there is limited space on the observing terrace so one must register in advance.  Also, since the telescopes can only be operated on cloudless nights we do not know until the day of the event if we can observe or if we have to cancel the event.

If you are interested in attending you can register your interest via the webpage bellow.  Once you register your interest you will be contacted with further information.  Registration opens a few days in advance of each event.

Note that since not all astronomers are fluent Swedish speakers the primary language at these events will be English.
