New telescope users

In order to become a telescope user you must get certified.  You do this by:

  • Attending and assisting during at least one observing event.
  • Completing an online course on telescope handling found in the Lund University Competence Portal.
  • Taking charge of an observing event, demonstrating your competence to a trained astronomer.
