[Lund Observatory building] Finding Lund Observatory

Lund Observatory is located about 2 km north-east from the center of Lund at the crossing of Sölvegatan and Tornavägen. It is a red brick building next to an old water tower (Swedish "vattentornet"). The observatory is in fact located at the highest point of central Lund. The picture on this page shows the observatory building as seen from the main entrance's side. The grey block standing out is the Lundmark lecture hall. The old water tower is visible on the left.
