Coming to Lund
The easiest way to reach Lund from abroad is via the airport Kastrup in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Copenhagen airport (Kastrup) to Lund:
Regular trains connect Kastrup
across the Öresund bridge with Malmö. The trip takes about 20
minutes and costs 80 SEK. Tickets can be purchased for the complete trip
to Lund. Not all trains continue from Malmö to Lund. In case
your train does not continue, change trains at Malmö station and
take a local train (Pågatåg) to Lund central station, or take a taxi from Malmö to Lund (costs about 200 SEK). If you
have not purchased a ticket for the whole way, do not forget to buy your
ticket at the machine in Malmö (34 SEK to Lund). Otherwise, you will
be charged an extra fee onboard.
It is also possible to take a taxi from Kastrup directly to Lund. The price
should be about 800-1000 SEK, do not forget to ask the driver for the price in advance.
Malmö (Sturup) airport to Lund:
Airport busses (Flygbussarna) depart to Lund about every other hour. The
ticket is 90 SEK and the trip takes about 40 min. The busses stop in
central Lund, the train station, and the hospital, which is within
walking distance of the ASOS 9 conference site. There are also taxis available
and credit cards are usually accepted. Do not forget to ask the driver

Local transportation
The local transportation, as well as the connection to Copenhagen and Kastrup, are handled by 'Skånetrafiken'. Here you can see the scheduling of busses and train, and get information on how to pay for the journeys.
Currency
The accepted currency in Sweden is the Swedish Krona (SEK). It may be possible to pay with Euro at some places but
generally only SEK is accepted. Common credit cards (VISA, Euro/Mastercard, Amex ...) are accepted in virtually all places including bank machines,
making it possible to withdraw cash at any time.
