The 9th International Colloquium on Atomic Spectra and Oscillator Strengths (ASOS)
for Astrophysical and Laboratory Plasmas will be held in Lund, Sweden from Tuesday
August 7 through Friday August 10, 2007. The ASOS meetings have been held once every
three years from its inception in Lund in 1983 and have provided
a forum for atomic spectroscopists and astronomers from around the world to meet
and discuss
atomic data from the perspectives of their determination
and application. The meeting will be organized by
Lund Observatory and Department of Physics on the campus of
Lund University and
will be comprised of invited and contributed talks along with poster presentations.
A welcoming reception and registration will be take place on the evening of August 7,
followed by three full
days for the scientific program. A social outing will be planned for
Saturday 11 August.
