Stellar Structure and Evolution
(7,5 hp)

The course contains a review of the phases of stellar evolution, the equations of stellar structure, energy transport, nuclear reactions, stellar models, star formation and the evolution of low-mass and high-mass stars, including supernovae type II and type Ia.

This course does not require any prior astronomical knowledge. For further information on course requirements please contact the course lecturers.
