Conditions and Possibilities for Life in the Universe (7.5 ECTS)

Multidisciplinary course, given in English, offered once a year, running at half pace during the second half of the fall term. 


Monday October 30, 2017, 16:15-18:00, in the Andromeda room (Astronomy building ground floor, Sölvegatan 27)

Lecture hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 16:15-18:00, October 30 until November 23.  Times for a practical exercise will be determined in consultation with the participants. Project presentations by students are scheduled for January 8-11, with the written exam on Friday January 12, 2018.

Note that compulsory parts of the course extend for the full duration of the study period, i.e., until the end of the fall term in mid-January.

Prerequisites: 60 ECTS credits of courses from faculties of either science, engineering or medicine (or equivalent).
